Entegra News Update!
Starting July 1, my business partner Mike Manzo will be leaving A.D. Makepeace and joining Entegra full-time as co-founder and Chief Investment Officer. Mike has been on the sidelines for the better part of a year waiting for our development fund capital to become a reality. Well, without letting the cat our of the bag too early, Mike has a signed contract between Entegra and a private capital partnership to explore green development opportunities within all segments of the real estate market! This is a HUGE break for us.
In other news, our consulting efforts have continued. We are currently preparing a proposal for Triumvirate Environmental. Triumvirate is a haz-mat waste disposal and containment company that services medical, bio-tech, and educational laboratories. They are hoping to green their business operations with Entegra at the wheel house.
I was also asked by the Babson Real Estate Career Affinity Group to create a case study for our White Cap consulting project in Burlington, Vermont. The case study will be use in a panel discussion on recent real estate trends that will take place during the Babson homecoming weekend in September.
Lastly, the Entegra war wagon "Dolly" has been purchased and is currently undergoing a mild restoration. Dolly is a 1967 Mercedes 200 Diesel sedan. She's big, fearless, and green... Literally! Dolly will be converted to run on both diesel and Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO). At 30 MPG, that would give us a range of over 700 miles on one set of full tanks. I'm working with some local restaurants now to get the grease.
