Hi Joshua - I just heard Keith Pitzer (from WV) play a song he wrote right after meeting with Larry Gibson at Kayford Mountain. It was moving. Folks from Mountain Watch are also here at this training event for watershed groups. Your project is an important one!

Hi Josh - I hear you might be spending some time in West Virginia this Fall. If you're in the neighborhood, please give a shout my way. I'll be based on Fayetteville but also spending time a bit further southwest in the hills. I am so inspired by mountain music and would love to know who and where you'll be doing your recording. After all the singing on the recent Wild Gift float, I recently dusted off my old guitar and have been practicing the 5 chords I once knew at every opportunity. Your Wild Gift project sounds awesome.
