It's Great To Be A Mentor
I participated in a Wild Gift two-night trek a couple of years ago as a mentor. I met with leaders each day to discuss their projects and shared my own experiences as a consultant to the business world.
What a great experience! Not only did I successfullly trek up hill and down loaded with my backpack into beautiful country, somehow keeping up with the "young'uns," I was truly inspired by the talent, determination, and maturity of everyone in our group. It was an unforgettable 48+ hours in which I was awed, moved, and motivated in my own life by my mentees.
If you have a chance to mentor, jump on it! You'll always be happy that you did.
